Encouraging news as the International Sports Press Association Europe (AIPS Europe) confirmed a Memorandum of Understanding for strengthen the relationship between sport and media with the European Weightlifting Federation (EWF) during the Executive Committee Meeting held in Istanbul from 9 to 11 March, 2023. Following the agreement, the EWF and AIPS Europe will work together to promote weightlifting throughout Europe, boosting media coverage and reaching broader audiences. On March 4, 2023, in San Marino, EWF AC held its annual auditor’s meeting. In the office of the IWF General Secretary, Dr Antonio Urso, the audit of EWF financial activities for the entire year of 2022 was conducted in San Marino, in the presence of the EWF AC Chairman, Patrick Fassott, together with the AC members, Michel Tschan, Juan Lama Arenales, Andreas Degwerth, EWF President, Antonio Conflitti, EWF Treasurer, Astrit Hasani, and EWF General Secretary, Milan Mihajlovic.
