Yerevan, Armenia – Day 2 of the 2023 EWF European Championships brought intense competition to the stage with the Men’s 55kg, Women’s 55kg, and Men’s 61kg categories.
The Men’s 55kg category, saw Bulgarian weightlifter RUSEV Angel take home the gold medal. Angel’s impressive performance was followed closely by SHAMILISHVILI Ramini from Georgia, who fought hard throughout the competition to secure the silver medal. In third place, Romanian lifter IANCU Valentin showed impressive strength and determination, earning himself the bronze medal.
Day 2 of the 2023 EWF European Championships brought incredible excitement and intense competition to the Women’s 55kg category. The results are now in, and it was Romania’s Cotruta Andrea who came out on top, securing the gold medal with her impressive lifts.
Coming in a close second was Ukrainian weightlifter Samuliak Svitlana, who put up a strong fight throughout the competition, earning herself the silver medal. And in third place was Yaylyan Izabella, representing her country with pride and taking home the bronze medal.
The Women’s 55kg category proved to be one of the most competitive of the day, with each athlete pushing themselves to their limits to secure a place on the podium. The crowd was on the edge of their seats as each lift was attempted and cheered on every successful attempt.
The Men’s 61kg category proved to be an exciting and fiercely contested event on Day 2 of the 2023 EWF European Championships. After a day of impressive lifts, it was Georgia’s Mishvelidze Shoota who emerged victorious, securing the gold medal with his impressive performance.
Coming in a close second was Italian weightlifter Massida Sergio, who put on a great show of strength and determination, earning himself the silver medal. And in third place was Bulgarian lifter Dimov Ivan, who displayed impressive athleticism and earned himself the bronze medal.
