The EWF continues to implement the initiative previously announced by EWF President, Dr Astrit Hasani, to organize additional training camps for young athletes. Following the successful completion of the EWF Training Camp in Switzerland and the strong support expressed for such activities, the EWF is pleased to announce the organization of a second training camp this year.
The EWF Executive Board has already reviewed and confirmed that Tsaghkadzor, Armenia, will host the 2026 EWF Youth Training Camp, scheduled for early December.
Tsaghkadzor is a resort town and urban municipal community located in the Kotayk Province of Armenia. It is a renowned ski and health resort, as well as one of the country’s most important tourist destinations. The town is situated on the eastern slopes of Mount Teghenis, approximately 5 kilometers northwest of the provincial capital Hrazdan and 58 kilometers northeast of the capital city, Yerevan.
Considering the high standard of Armenian weightlifting and the well-known hospitality of the hosts, we are confident that this training camp will remain a memorable and rewarding experience for all young participants.
