The Fan Zone was built for the first time during the weightlifting event as a distinct safe place where individuals and groups of weightlifting fans go on to experience entertainment and enjoy weightlifting competition. Implementing anti-doping activities is a vital duty for the EWF and its member federations. On July 7, 2023, during the European Youth and U15s Championships in Chisinau, the Moldova Weightlifting Federation and the National Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Moldova (NADO) signed an MoU in front of the Championships participants and EWF representatives.The Agency will manage and monitor the Anti-Doping education programme for the Moldova Weightlifting Federation as part of the IWF / EWF Coach licence pilot programme.
