The 6th General Election of the Türkiye Weightlifting Federation was held in Ankara on November 2, 2024. The General Assembly convened at the Hilton Garden Inn Ankara Gimat Hotel and was attended by 274 out of 299 delegates. Mehmet Yılmaz ran alongside Talat Ünlü, the current president, in the presidential election. Following the counting of votes, Talat Ünlü was re-elected as president, securing 191 votes from the 274 delegates present.
