Serbian Weightlifting Federation Elects New Executive Board
On December 20, 2024, the Electoral Assembly of the Serbian Weightlifting Federation convened in Belgrade. During this assembly, Dr. Milan Mihajlovic was re-elected as Federation President, with the entire backing from Federation members.
Additionally, the Assembly elected a new Executive Board, comprising the following members:
* Mr. Branko Calic, Vice President
* Ms. Tamara Jovic, General Secretary
* Ms. Jovana Stajic, Executive Board Member
* Mr. Ervin Rosznyik, Executive Board Member
* Mr. Vojislav Ilic, Executive Board Member
* Mr. Andrej Rang, Executive Board Member
Serbian weightlifters have made considerable development, capturing 47 medals at World and European Championships in various age categories over the past decade.
Notably, this year, four medals were won in events conducted in Thessaloniki and Raszyin. Assembly delegates regarded it as respectable success.
The European Weightlifting Federation congratulates the newly elected Executive Board and wishes the Serbian Weightlifting Federation continued success in its future initiatives.
