The annual Finnish Youth Weightlifting Carnival Camp in Rovaniemi kicked off with a grand start on Monday at the renowned Santasport. The five-day camp, filled with a fusion of intense training, friendly competition, and boundless adventures, is set to conclude on Friday.
The prestigious event has brought together over 30 promising junior weightlifters, aged between 8 and 16 years, from across Finland. They are being mentored by a team of ten seasoned coaches dedicated to honing the youths’ physical prowess and fostering a sense of camaraderie among the group.
The camp, much loved for its blending of traditional weightlifting instruction with recreational activities, serves as a crucial platform for budding weightlifters to sharpen their skills and develop enduring friendships.
