Chisinau, Moldova – The 2023 EWF European Youth and U15 Championships commenced with a breathtaking opening ceremony at the prestigious Chisinau Arena. The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Anatolie TOPALA, the Minister of Educational and Research of the Republic of Moldova, who delivered an inspiring speech to mark this historical occasion.
Adding to the illustrious lineup, Olympic Champion and Honorary President of the Moldova Weightlifting Federation, Mr. Tudor CASAPU, graced the event with his esteemed presence.
Mr. Mohammed Jalood, President of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) along with EWF President Kt. Antonio CONFLITTI and EWF General Secretary Dr. Milan Mihajlovic delivered a heartfelt welcome speech.
