The recently concluded Lithuanian Weightlifting Championships witnessed a remarkable display of talent and determination as the country’s youth athletes took center stage. The Boys’ Championship Final took place on 05.26, followed by the Youth Girls’ Championship Final on Saturday, 05.27. A total of 331 athletes, including 76 girls and 255 boys, participated in the qualifying competition two weeks prior, setting the stage for an exhilarating contest.

The competition saw exceptional performances that left spectators in awe. The top three girls in the Youth Championship, based on the Sinclair scoring system, were Norvilaite Milena from Klaipeda, Severdova Estela from Klaipeda, and Maracauskaite Eligia from Telsiai. The boys’ category witnessed outstanding displays of strength, with Brazauskas Aironas from Panevezys, Asijavicius Rasvydas from Marijampole, and Ustinovas Laurnyas from Vilnus securing the top three positions.

The best girls’ team was Telsiai and the best boys team was Marijampole. 

The Lithuanian Weightlifting Federation deserves high praise for their exceptional organization of the event, ensuring a seamless and remarkable experience for participants and attendees.
