On April 29th, weightlifting fans across Germany tuned in to watch the German Team Weightlifting Finals, where the top three clubs from the regular season battled it out for the championship title. The competition saw the SSV Samswegen 1884 e.V., AV 03 Speyer 1903 e.V., and SV Germania Obrigheim e.V. go head-to-head in a series of intense lifts.

The German Team Weightlifting Finals brought together the best lifters from three top German clubs: SSV Samswegen 1884 e.V., AV 03 Speyer 1903 e.V., and SV Germania Obrigheim e.V.

Before the final round, SV Germania Obrigheim e.V , led with 908.2 points, followed closely by SSV Samswegen 1884 e.V with 884 points and AV 03 Speyer 1903 e.V. with 880.5 points.

The competition was intense and uncertain about the victor, with each team putting up a tough fight. The top three teams were neck and neck throughout the competition, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats. The event was not only a showcase of the best German lifters but also featured some of Europe’s finest lifters. The competition demonstrated a high level of skill and athleticism in the sport of weightlifting and left no doubt that Germany is home to some of the world’s top talent. In the end it was Obrigheim that emerged victorious with an impressive 938.2 points, securing their place as the champions of the German Team Weightlifting Finals.
