This month sees the best of England’s athletes return to the platform as they go head-to head for medals and titles in a nail-biting weekend of weightlifting.

In the men’s 89kg category, power jerker Stefano Cataldi will go head-to-head with fellow LOWA lifter Ramiro Mora Romero, both lifters have a 300kg qualification total and will be fighting for gold.
Silver Ee will be making his first national senior debut in the men’s 67kg category.
Jonathan Chin holds the top ranked spot in the men’s 73kg category, where he will take on Jacob Finnigan and Chris Freebury
In the women’s 64kg category the top spot is highly contested, with just 1kg separating the qualification totals of the top two lifters Abby Stevens and Georgina Jackson.
Erin Barton has a 30kg lead on competitors’ rankings in the 71kg category.
Sarah Wiltshire will be making a return to competition in the women’s 81kg category, where Deborah Alawode and Katrina Feklistova will battle it out for gold
The men’s 96kg category will see Edmon Avetisyan and Ed Smale battle it out.
Jack Oliver has moved up in weight category and will be making a comeback to take on Joe Cowen in the men’s 81kg category, where we also have Home Nation Pathway Manager Kristian Mcphee.
Mack Middleton tops the men’s 109+kg rankings with an impressive 41kg lead on his qualification total
