The 2022 Mediterranean Weightlifting event was held in Oran (ALG) from July 1st to July 4th, 2022.
It was a terrific four days of competition in EMEC Hall, with good sports results and a lot of emotions.
We are all grateful to the Local Organising Committee of the 19th Mediterranean Games and the Algerian Weightlifting Federation for providing excellent conditions for this competition.
The Mediterranean Games are a multi-sport competition amongst 26 countries from Africa, Europe, and Asia that are located near or on the Mediterranean Sea. The International Committee of Mediterranean Games (ICMG / CIJM) is in charge of the games.
Next, the 2026 edition of the Games will be held in Taranto, Italy.
