The 2025 EWF European Youth and U15 Championships began today, 23.07.2025 with intense competition and impressive performances at the opening sessions.The first session of the day featured the Girls U15, 40kg category. Olena Mykhaliuk from Ukraine secured gold with a total of 125kg (55kg snatch and 70kg clean & jerk). The 2025 EWF Youth Training Camp has successfully concluded in Madrid following a productive week of daily training sessions held from July 13 to 20, 2025. Beginning in 2018, the IWF Executive Board approved and the Congress ratified ten bodyweight categories each for women and men.
