LYON, France — The 11th International Women’s Weightlifting Tournament of Lyon will take place on 14 February 2026.
Organised by La Gauloise de Vaise, the event is designed to showcase female lifters and help raise the profile of women’s weightlifting in France.
The 2026 edition will feature:
International participation, with athletes coming from foreign delegations
A national-level competition that is qualifying for the French national finals, with expected participation from French national team athletes
A senior podium cash prize: €1,000 (1st), €600 (2nd), €300 (3rd)
Additional rewards for all athletes provided by the club and partners
The tournament is announced to be held at Gymnase Matthias Favier (Lyon 9).
