The third day of the Championships opened with the U15 Girls 48kg category. Romania’s Maia Delia Andrei took gold with a strong total of 152kg (67kg snatch and 85kg clean & jerk). Ukraine’s Kira Strohanova pushed hard for silver with 150kg (66kg snatch and 84kg clean & jerk). France’s Louise Rigaud secured bronze with 130kg (58kg snatch and 72kg clean & jerk).

In the Women’s Youth 53kg session, Maria Stratoudaki of Greece was the star of the day. A great young prodigy of European weightlifting, she broke European Youth Records in snatch, clean & jerk, and total with lifts of 81kg snatch, 100kg clean & jerk, and a total of 181kg. Her performance showed skill and composure far beyond her years. Romania’s Alexia Diana Sipos claimed silver with 177kg (79kg snatch, 98kg clean & jerk), while her teammate Adelina Maria Lorint earned bronze with 158kg (70kg snatch, 88kg clean & jerk).

The Men’s U15 60kg category followed with an intense battle decided by just one kilogram. Türkiye’s Mustafa Hamza Ciger lifted 98kg in snatch and 131kg in clean & jerk for a total of 229kg to take gold. Georgia’s Giorgi Kinkladze finished close behind with 228kg (105kg snatch, 123kg clean & jerk). Georgia also claimed bronze through Shota Kakabadze with 217kg (97kg snatch, 120kg clean & jerk). The lifts were impressive and the fight for the top spot kept everyone on edge.

The day closed with the Men’s U15 65kg category. Georgia’s Davit Kiladze secured gold with 240kg (108kg snatch, 132kg clean & jerk). Moldova’s Toprak Koleoglu took silver with 237kg (109kg snatch, 128kg clean & jerk). Bronze went to Beibulat Nazirov (AIN) with 222kg (96kg snatch, 126kg clean & jerk).
