Day 7 of the 2026 EWF European Youth & U15 Championships opened with the B group of the Youth Women 69 kg category, before four medal sessions followed through the day.
The B group opened the programme at 10:30, with Hungary’s Luca KARASSZON producing the best Total of the session at 171 kg after 82 kg in the Snatch and 89 kg in the Clean & Jerk.
The medals would be decided two hours later when the A group took to the platform.
Belgium’s Lise STERCKX had the early advantage with 89 kg in the Snatch, one kilogram ahead of Türkiye’s Zehranur ASLAN.
ASLAN then took control in the Clean & Jerk. She made 108 kg and 112 kg, with that second successful lift taking her to 200 kg in Total and the European title.
Polina PAVLOVICH, representing Russia, finished second with 191 kg, while STERCKX’s 190 kg was enough for bronze. Only one kilogram separated silver and bronze.
The next title went to Alena KOZLOVA, representing Russia, after a strong Clean & Jerk changed the order at the top of the U15 +69 kg category.
Armenia’s Nare ARAKELYAN led after the Snatch with 97 kg, with KOZLOVA just one kilogram behind.
KOZLOVA then lifted 120 kg in the Clean & Jerk to finish with 216 kg and move into first place. ARAKELYAN took silver with 212 kg, while Ukraine’s Polina KALNYK finished third with 202 kg.
Türkiye collected gold and bronze in the Men U15 +85 kg category.
Emirhan CETINKAYA led from the Snatch, where he finished with 123 kg, and remained in front after a 151 kg Clean & Jerk. His 274 kg Total gave him the title.
Georgia’s Nikoloz KORIDZE moved into silver position with a 149 kg Clean & Jerk and finished on 269 kg.
Mucahit Samed AKBULUT gave Türkiye a second medal in the category, taking bronze with 268 kg, just one kilogram behind KORIDZE.
The final session of Day 7 belonged to Albania’s Maida LOZI.
LOZI led the Snatch with 87 kg and then added 105 kg in the Clean & Jerk to finish with 192 kg and take the European title.
Türkiye’s Yagmur BULUT moved from third after the Snatch to silver overall, finishing with 187 kg after a 105 kg Clean & Jerk.
Romania’s Flavia Cezara HREAPCA completed the podium with 185 kg, following an 84 kg Snatch and 101 kg in the Clean & Jerk.
