The European Weightlifting Federation has launched its new EWF Media Accreditation Portal, created to make the accreditation process clearer, faster and more efficient for both media representatives and EWF event operations.

The new platform is more than a traditional online application form. Media representatives can create a personal profile, use it for EWF events, follow the status of their applications and receive clear information regarding their accreditation, access and applicable media permissions.
The system has been developed following practices used by major international sports federations, while being adapted specifically to the needs and operational structure of European weightlifting.
Applications Open for the 2026 European Junior & U23 Championships
Media accreditation applications are now open for the 2026 EWF European Junior & U23 Championships, to be held in Durrës, Albania, from 12–19 October 2026.
Media representatives wishing to attend the Championships are invited to create their profile and submit their application through the new portal.
As this is the first stage of the platform’s operation, EWF also warmly welcomes comments, suggestions and feedback from users.
