From the 12th to 15th February, the Armenian Weightlifting Federation invited 3 EWF Technical Committee members to conduct an EWF Technical Official Seminar in conjunction with the 2026 Armenian National Weightlifting Championship in Yerevan.
The main purpose of the seminar was to educate and prepare Armenian male and female Technical Officials for the 2027 IWF World Championship.
The Seminar was very well attended, with almost 30 participants.
The Armenian National Championship gave all Armenian TO’s to experience in rotation the various important Technical Official positions.
Arayik Alaverdyan, Koba Obolashivili and Denise Offermann surveyed as 3 Bench Jury the active rotation.
With very positive and great enthusiasm the rotation of the various TO positions were very well established and successfully executed.
It was very welcoming to see 4 women participating under the large attendees and during the championship.
The EWF encourages more National Federations to conduct such kind of Technical Officials seminar in conjunction with a National Championship to ensure a high standard and quality event both to help athletes and coaches for best performances.
The EWF thanks the Armenian Weightlifting Federation for ensuring the highest standard of national and international weightlifting championships.
