The ten (10) athletes, including two from Europe, who will serve as members of the IWF Athletes’ Commission until the 2024 Electoral Congress, have been announced by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF):

- Keydomar Giovanni VALLENILLA SANCHEZ (VEN)
During the World Championships in Bogotá (Colombia) was organized first-time elections for the IWF Athlete Commission. Following the elections, the IWF will set new standards for athlete representation by appointing three athletes to the IWF Executive Board and three athletes to the IWF Congress as full voting members.
