President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated at the inauguration of the weightlifting club in “Zangazur Dost”, which was installed in “Dost Agropark”.
At the opening ceremony, members of the national weightlifting teams of Türkiye and Azerbaijan, as well as amateur athletes of the sports club, had a conversation with the two heads of states.
Famous Turkish weightlifter, three-times Olympic champion Halil Mutlu also took part at the ceremony. The ceremony was also marked by a very interesting moment when the President Ilham Aliyev lifted the bar over the head and making a good promotion for this sport.
