The first official biography of Greek 3-times Olympic champion (and one bronze medal) and VP of the IWF Executive Board is out in Greece. Telling the story of his life to journalist Nikos Efstathiou, who provides context in the roughly 350 pages of the book, Pyrros Dimas talks about authoritarianism, weightlifting, migration, Olympic success, and public service. The biography is already available in Greek and will hopefully also be translated in other languages in the near future.
