76 participants have attended, on Tuesday, the second of the four educational training sessions series addressed to the International Technical Officials from Europe. This time it was the turn of lecturer Mr. Taisto Kuoppala, International Referee Category I, to present the important role of the technical controller in competition. The panelist caught the attention of the participants by sharing his rich experience and challenges encountered as a technical official at the most prestigious international weightlifting competitions over decades.
The meeting took place interactively, with participants being able to ask questions and receive real-time answers from the panelist.
EWF TC has announced the timetable for future online seminars:
- April 6th, 19.00-20.30 CET — Ms. Tina BEITER, Chairwoman of the EWF Technical Committee, will make a lecture about the role of the JURY
- April 12th, 19.00-20.30 CET – Mr. Tryggve DUUN, an EWF TC member will make a lecture about the role of the REFEREE
