EWF wishes to remind on the World Anti-Doping Agency information which came into force on 01.01.2022.:
2022 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods, the 2022 Summary of Major Modifications and Explanatory Notes and 2022 Monitoring Program
The 2022 List was approved by WADA’s Executive Committee (ExCo) during its meeting on 14 September 2021. The List is one of the eight International Standards that are mandatory for all Signatories of the World Anti-Doping Code (Code). WADA urge to athletes, their coaches, and other stakeholders to be aware of significant changes to the use of salbutamol and injectable glucocorticoids.
We also want to remind you that the European Weightlifting Federation has established a series of anti-doping and fair-play workshops, under the specialized commissions led by Denise Offerman and Alexandru Padure.
