As the next milestone in the renewal of the Hungarian Weightlifting Federation (HWF), the EB adopted the new logo of the HWF, which was created as part of the organization’s comprehensive rebranding process.
The logo combines the logo of the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), expressing the close connection to the global weightlifting family, the active presence of Hungarian weightlifting and the national colors.
The unique design reflects not only the weightlifting equipment, the discs, but also the dynamic characteristic of the sport.
“Our goal was to create a modern and clean logo that simultaneously expresses the power, precision and momentum of weightlifting. The new logo symbolizes both the connection to international trends and the renewal of the domestic sport,” said Dr. Péter Nagy, President of the HWF.
The renewed logo – which will form the basis of the entire branding – is not just a visual change, but part of the Federation’s long-term strategy, which is based on involving young talents, promoting the sport, and successfully participating in international competitions.
